Welcome to O'Neill's Penny Lane Pub. We've been around since 1979 and in this location since November, 2003. Terry, Rose, Terence, and Lisa (and in a few years, Kate and Evan) welcome you to their bit of Liverpool in Richmond, VA. Come in, have a bite or a pint. Relax at the downstairs bar with old friends or make some new ones. Play darts or pool upstairs, enjoy a good meal in our dining room. Hold a meeting or special occasion in our private dining room. No matter why you come, what you will find is a friendly and welcoming staff, great food, and the best tap selection in the Central Virgina area.

Note: During the 2010-2011 EPL Season, we will be opening at 10am on Saturday and Sunday (times may change, depending on the games)! Come in and support your favorite team (of course it's Liverpool, right? Right?) and keep this new tradition alive.

Due to changes in smoking regulations in the Commonwealth of Virginia, we've designated the downstairs bar and dining room as non-smoking. We welcome our non-smoking friends to join us. The upstairs bar and the patio are still smoking, though, for our smoking friends.

• August 28, 2010 - Congrats to Greg for winning the Summer Penny Lane Poker Tournament and taking home $400 cash!! Next tournament starts September 7th.
• August 13, 2010 - Special Weekend hours for EPL Season: Saturday open at 10am and Sunday open at 10am.

• July 3, 2010 - Penny Lane will be Closed on Sunday and Monday (July 4th and 5th) as recovery days from the World Cup. AND to prep for the Semi-Finals and Final game next week. See you then!!
• June 25, 2010 - USA and ENGLAND both move on and we get to celebrate at Penny Lane Pub all weekend. Please join us for USA v Ghana on Saturday 2pm and England v Germany Sunday 10am (doors open at 8:30am). Come for the Uruguay v S. Korea Sat and stay for the U.S. game to ensure a good spot. Good Luck Lads!!
• June 21, 2010 - Update on hours: Starting June 22nd Penny Lane will be open at 9am for World Cup Matches. Except for WEDNESDAY when the doors open at 8AM for U.S.A. and England matches. Stay tuned to any further changes WHEN not IF both teams make it to the next round.
• June 14, 2010 - Thanks to all that heeded our warning to get here early for the big England USA game! Sorry for all that we could not accommodate. The passion and excitement was electric throughout the Pub. What a great way to start off the World Cup! Thanks to all the football fans that made it such a memorable event!

Downstairs, guaranteed: any topic, any side, someone will take the other and present a lively discussion - friendly, of course. In the UK they have locals - the place where the residents of the area congregate and they use as their Living Room. Downstairs is like that. Yet, open to soon to be friends. Scouses or other more than welcome. Don't know what a scouse is? Come in and ask! If you do - come in and ask for "The Scouse".

From Fish n' Chips to Steak, Sausage Rolls to Salads - let our kitchen delight your palette. Fancy the feeling of a Continental sidewalk cafe? Try the patio with it's ornate fountain and authentic British Phone Box.

Upstairs, in the evenings, the scene is lively, upbeat. With it's own bar and it's own style, the energy level is always high. Look for Virginia's top politicians, or enjoy a game of pool - fancy a bit of cricket at the dart board? Upstairs it is!
